What makes you rich or poor?

It's not what you have or don't have, but how you use it. I have a friend who is a millionaire. He has a lot of money, but he doesn't know how to spend it. He spends his money on things that aren't important. He spends his time on things that aren't worth the time. He tries to be happy when he's not happy and sad when he's not sad. This is why he has so little money: because most of his life is spent trying to be something he's not. The Buddha tells us that we should learn from our mistakes, but in my experience, there are two big ones everyone makes at some point: first, we spend too much time trying to achieve goals that are impossible; second, we spend too little time trying to enjoy what we already have and make our lives better with each passing day. It takes practice to learn how to use our lives wisely — and this is true for everyone from billionaires down to homeless drunks — but when you do learn how it feels good not just physically but mentally as well
The only way to get rich is by working hard and being smart about it. It's that simple. There are no shortcuts, no secret formulas, and no magic steps you can take to make money fast. The only way to make money is by putting in the hours and doing whatever it takes. If you want to be rich, then you need to realize that money doesn't grow on trees and that you need to work hard at it if you want to become wealthy someday. Thanks….
